Skyline Drive

You know those moments in life when everything is pretty much perfect.

The whole family is having fun at the same time, doing the same thing.

We had just driven up this most glorious mountain road listening to "the sounds of Sunday" I'm feeling the love for my husband and children.

It was a lovely break from being the drill sergeant mom I usually have to be.

The view was spectacular, breathtaking, awe inspiring. (couldn't decide which adjective to use so I used them all). Sarah, Luke and Kate make me laugh in this picture.

A miracle occurred at our house. I made cookies. They were even good. I would know, I ate 5 in a row.

pleasantly surprised

I was cleaning the kitchen and actually finished! They had been downstairs playing for over 30 minutes......"oh crap" I thought. "I wonder if they have pooped and taken their diapers off again. Maybe they are destroying Emmaline and AnnaKates's room again....oh I hope the markers didn't get left out!" Oh the JOY I felt to discover them running around this toy that plays music!!!! (they had only taken their pants off) Hallelujah!!!

20 baby wipes later......we walked on the trail. I was attempting to wear them out so they would chill on the couch in front of the tv when we got home.
